Welcome to Atkinson-Womack Family Care

Dr. Stephanie Atkinson has been a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 2011. She received her undergraduate training from the University of Texas-Austin, Master of Science from Texas Woman’s University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Johns Hopkins University. She is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, President of North Texas Nurse Practitioners, and serves as a Legislative Ambassador for Texas Nurse Practitioners. In addition to clinical practice, she is a contributing author for a widely circulated primary care textbook. She is passionate about providing the highest quality care for patients through shared decision making and individualized treatment plans tailored to each person’s unique health needs. When not in the office she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and golden retrievers Boris and Willow. 

Diane Womack is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 2001. She received her undergraduate degrees at the University of Texas Arlington and her Master’s of Science at Texas Woman’s University in Denton.  She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and frequently precepts future generations of Nurse Practitioner students.  Diane is married with two college-aged daughters and an Australian Shepherd named Roo. Diane has a special interest in encouraging patients to achieve their weight loss goals and optimal health through the prevention and control of chronic medical conditions. In her spare time, Diane enjoys reading, learning how to smoke meats, and taking Roo on new adventures.
